Each mare is fitted with a foaling alarm and is monitored closely by myself 24 hours a day up until they foal. After the mare has foaled we continue to monitor them both closely up until they go home. All mares are fed hard feed twice a day (unless stated otherwise), and have access to good pasture and hay throughout the day. Having over 20 years of experience in the thoroughbred industry, I have worked in England, Ireland and Australia on studs and racing stables. For the last 7 years I have been working at the Melbourne University in Werribee as a qualified equine vet nurse. I am very proud of our beautiful property and the facilities we have created which is a safe-haven for horses.
